There are rules in the UK??

Looks like it !!

Wearing of face masks in public place now compulsory from July 24th.

Only about 4 months too late.

Wearing a mask is important but due to the increase in cases in Spain we are reverting back to our bubble that we found safe to take a chance on going to places that do not clean up or keep to the rules is taking chances not worth it

This is not an advert but since the opening of bars etc we have been to Roda bar after someone leaves they wash tables and chairs ready for next people very good and our local chiringhito is similar staying safe is most important and the sooner we stop the spread the sooner we can get back to a normal existence

Don’t be Trump. Just wear the mask. It’s a no brainer. Just back from Madrid. Everyone is wearing a mask. And a seat belt!!!

Mask rules don not apply to children under six, but many responsible parents and grandparent have explained Covid 19 issues to children and they are wearing masks too. Its their future after all.

Spanish health authorities say extra cases is now due to very aggressive trace and tracking and then testing again.

You're all paranoid.
Not long from now there will be a huge surge in respiratory problems.
No creature is meant to wear a mask, and certainly not for lengthy periods.

Stop listening to the clowns that pluck figures out of the sky.
And a media that adores all this drama.
Yes there's a virus, yes it can kill but so can crossing the road, driving a car, drinking alcohol, smoking, flying, sky diving, push biking, mountaineering, etc etc.
Let's avoid all things in life that are harmful, and die of boredom instead.

My daughter is a chemo nurse and she caught it when some elderly patient coughed in her face.
She was quite ill, not as ill as when she had the flu, recovered and now has anti bodies.
It will still be here for some time unless we build immunity.
More people will die from suicide, lack of after care, and the many other problems that 'lock down' brings with it than this virus will kill.
Sweden have the right attitude and are no worse of than the UK or Spain, they are doing better than many and their economy hasn't suffered anywhere near as those that took the ridiculous measures of the majority of Europe.

Hundreds of thousands of surgeons have been wearing masks in stressful situations for up to 12 hours at a time.

Herd immunity might or might not turn out to be a good thing.

If a vaccine works and over time it is discovered that CV19 effects on lungs, brain, heart, reproductive system are worse than first understood, then Sweden's approach won't look so good.

Its a huge risk and my Finnish, Danish and Norwegian friends worry that Sweden may live to regret it.

I agree, no one can predict who's strategy is the best but as far as Sweden goes, it makes no difference.
They are doing better than many that have 'locked down' so either way their citizens are better off.
We live in the here and now.
It's similar to all this 'global warming' nonsense (though most have now changed to calling it climate change, which is what it really is).
Folk babble on about zero carbon emissions when anyone with common sense knows that is impossible.
They say how we need to 'save the planet' for future generations.
Ridiculous.
Again, we live in the here and now. It's pointless making folks lives harder now so those that aren't even born yet can have a better world.
As for Covid, it's not that there isn't a genuine threat, it's the ridiculous nonsense we keep being fed.
Very little of it makes sense.
Keep 2m apart. So are they saying the virus hits a 'brick wall' after 2m?
No, because now it's keep 1m apart (depending where you live). Is this because the virus has lost energy, or only jumps so far in certain countries?
In the UK it's not dangerous to go into shops without a face mask as long as it's before Friday 24th July.
After that it's awfully dangerous so you must wear one, oh, unless you have one of the many reasons not to wear one or you are under 11??
The list goes on from day one till now.
If the advice made sense then folk may well take it seriously but most are just fed up of the bull that tumbles out of the 'experts' mouths.
Something is afoot.
Either a war is not far away or the powers that be want to 'flatten' all countries debts.
The Euro zone is in such a mess that eventually no country will owe anything and all 'slates' will be wiped clean

Where are you getting your information about Sweden. They are one of the worst countries and are having a very bad struggle with the pandemic. Doing far worse than the other Scandinavian count
