Min have both been fine but the one done here in Spain was a much better experience than the UK!

Hola    I am almost at the end of an awful time with Specialist Vehicles

I bought a car from them   two weeks later the engine blew up!    and they will not help

so I have been without transport  for almost two months      I  shall not be there Monday 5th Aug   (still no car)

but with luck    the week after  I hope to have a car then

but they are a very nice group    honest     Dave  Brooks

Hi, I'm Andy (aged 70); and I'm thinking of coming to Santiago de la Ribera (maybe staying at the hotel Trabuco, if anyone knows how good it is?), for two weeks - maybe with my 43 year old son - with the intention of looking around the area, and other places in Murcia on the coast, or just inland, with the intention of eventually a long term rental.  I'd travel back and forth to the UK, as I work (and won't be retiring) at least three monthly.  Any hints, suggestions, recommendations, or advice generally will be appreciated. :)

Thanks in advance,

Andrew.

Presume you have checked that Trabuco is open now as it has been closed...its a good budget hotel with a pool on the roof and a few minutes walk down the main street to the beach and the big Weds market. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby! They do great tapas in the hotel bar too. We have a conversation group there Spanish and English although it has stopped now for the summer. Ribera is a lovely place but if you want more to do and see San Javier is 5 minutes inland or look at the other small towns along the coast of the Mar Menor. Suggest you hire a car to get around as public transport isn't great!

Thanks; and I'll take your advice about a new post.  By the way, hotels.com are showing the Trabuco as being open then, though I haven't tried to book yet.  And Spanish lessons there sound great :)  Yo hablo espanol moy poco, lol.

Hola Don´t forget to wipe your feet on the way out    then saying that the staff are great   and the place very cheap

what is this?   they do Spanish lessons     !!       you will find property far cheaper  "in land"      but take into account    flooding

You can just come along on Monday to the Garden Bar. Why are you putting a full stop after every word?
