Si quieres descansar por la tarde o sleep bien por la noche, NO VENGAS A SANTIAGO DE LA RIBERA. Hay muchos perros en las urbanizaciones situadas entre el LIDL y la clínica veterinaria. Ladran toujours jour et nuit. Los dueños de estos animales y las autoridades de la ciudad no han hecho nada durante años para detener esta contaminación acústica. Se vuelve infernal a veces.

If you want to rest in the afternoon or sleep well at night, DO NOT COME TO SANTIAGO DE LA RIBERA. There are many dogs in the urbanizations located between LIDL and the veterinary clinic. They bark toujours jour et nuit. The owners of these animals and the city authorities have done nothing for years to stop this noise pollution. It gets hellish sometimes.

Hi Filou, I understand constantly barking dogs can be very problematic. What I don't understand is how your post does anything to address the problem, I assume you have addressed this problem with the dog owners and the relevant authorities. Advising people not to come to Santiago De la Ribera is certainly not a solution to the problem. This town has suffered enormously during the pandemic and is on the road (hopefully) to recovery so please think carefully before posting the type of negative message you posted today. I hope you find a solution soon.

La pandémie la ha sufrido y la sufre el mundo entero. Saber vivir es otra cosa y requiere respeto por la gente y el barrio. Los ancianos, los enfermos y los niños necesitan descansar y no necesitan escuchar noche y día y los 7 días de la semana a los perros ladrar sin cesar. Las autoridades fueron advertidas y no actúan como en otras ciudades que hacen cumplir silencio.

Si dejo que mi perro ladre debajo de tu ventana o si toco el tambor noche y día no apreciarás el todo.

If I let my dog bark outside your window or if I play the drum day and night, you're not going to like it at all.

No I wouldn't like it or tolerate it, I would deal with it but I wouldn't start advising people not to come to this town which won't solve your problem with barking dogs.
