Hi,

I want to send a package of approx 20kg to Ireland, it can go slow mail, and nothing of great value so looking for a courier type service.

All suggestions gratefully accepted.

Thanks.

You could try UPS or Fedex - I believe that you pay online and print off a pre-paid label then take the parcel to your closest depot.

Alternatively, your Correos post office should be able to help you. A friend of mine left his mobile phone here last year and I posted it back via the post office (it cost aprox. €30, but that was because we wanted tracked guaranteed 48 hour delivery). My local post office even has an automated machine which weighs your package, you pay and it prints out the label, then you just hand it over the counter.

Hope this helps!

Hi Anni

If you are not in a great hurry you cold search this comparison site for the best and accurate price, I used it a few years ago and found it a good tool.

Hope this may help.

Just an update to let you know I sent the package with eurosender.com…..up to 30kg for €32….the website said 4 days but collected on a Thursday afternoon and delivered to the Irish address the following Thursday at lunchtime….can’t complain at that.
