Hi all,

Its been a few months since fibre has been available in the urb and i was wondering how people are finding it.

So if you could share your experience including what company, any problems, speed, cost, customer service ect. I would be most appreciative.

Regards

Ade

We haven't got it yet, but we just went into the Flexa shop in Sucina today.

I have to say Linda was really impressive, and really helpful.

We will be signing up as a result of her great service.

Thanks Simon

I also found her very helpful when i called in back in April, and I am inclined to go with Flexa. Was just wondering if the actual service/speed was as good as the customer service.

Cheers

Ade

Customer service before you're a customer is one thing. Customer service once you've signed your life away for a year is another.

I know people on fibre (not in your area) who are having problem after problem and it's not getting better.

I recently had to change provider and the shop were brilliant and assuring. However, the product isn't any good and I'm now stuck with it.

Since posting my dissatisfaction, I've found loads of people with the same problems - constant disconnects & slow - which directly affects my work.

Moral: don't sign up just because the girl in the shop tells you it's fine. They're selling it.

The San Pedro Fibre map doesn't show coverage anywhere near Sucina, just the other side of the motorway on the coast.

The saving grace is, they say there's no contract so you can drop them anytime if they don't deliver.

I don't know if Teleast / Horada serve your area, but we changed to fibre optic in April and can't believe the great change. The speed is brilliant - takes only couple minutes to download from iPlayer ( with VPN) which used to take ages and sometimes stop mid download. We wouldn't be without it now! No problems.

So why not stay with them for fibre optic and see what you think? We've had no problems.

The service is great, I went in last Monday morning and by afternoon I had TV, internet, mobile and landline all for a really good price. Was lucky as they only had one call in Sucina that day.

The choices on the tv box are great with 2 week catchup on programmes you may have missed. There are box sets of series, loads of films, an audio package with 137 albums, and separate radio. The channel choice is great and easy to mark favourites. So far I have no complaints and Linda and the other staff I have met are great.
