PCR Test

You can get a PCR test at Gatwick Airport if travelling from there for £60 with a 48 hour turnaround. Downside...no appointments for ext 2 months!!!

Hi last night went to Gatwick airport for my pcr test got there an hour early no problem, the young lady who was taking the swab from the back off my throat kept laughing as I was nearly throwing up, and if I had she would have got the full liad out off the car window, nose one was not as bad as back of throat but all done now, just waiting for results in an email ready for flight tomorrow afternoon, and only cost £60.

Jtb How long in advance did you book as the web booking service shows it fully booked for the next 2 months?

Only a few days ago and I was even an hour earlier than due time and got down straight away

Just checked again and they now have plenty available, maybe they've upped the capacity! What did you have to produce to prove the booking from Gatwick?

You have to put your flight number and password number when you book your dlot

Could i ask, as i have a flight booked in January from Luton to Alicante, and have to drive to L.A.

I was informed the borders were closed and i could not go from the Alicante province into the LA province ?

Is this correc ? Or did you go from one province to another.

From what I read in. As as long as you have a good reason to travel it’s ok, but all persons in car must be wearing mask unless on your own. So just flying in and heading to your Spanish accommodations is allowed, hope this helps you
