Very upset to hear this is a bad situation, flies all the time, and people unable to sit outside to have food, this has really upset me, really considering pulling out of my sale, what I have heard today, it makes Sucina, not the right place, but is the flies problem every where,

There is a small problem SOME of the time. Don't believe everything you read, Sucina is lovely. The problem is no worse than any country location in that heat. September there were a few about we burnt citronella, did the trick. We were there last week, no problem at all.

Hi Sharonses

I dont want to put you off buying. If you really like Sucina why not rent for the summer and see for yourself?  I am a full time resident here not just a comer and goer so can tell you the absolute truth and not try and cover up the problem. We drove past the fertilizer plant here yesterday and there is at least 1000 tons of animal dung at least 15 ft. high and the length of the road nearly. Chopping it up this morning...not a pleasant smell!!  I am happy to put a photo on the forum to back up my points. Admittedly not so many flies now  but still swatting .

Part of the problem is city / town folk that move to the countryside then complain about the smells are farms that come with it. We see this happening alot. It's like moving next to the beach and complaining about sun bathers and the noise and smell of the sea. Other thing is, some people are never happy and habitual complainers

Why are you attacking me? We are certainly NOT habitual complainers. You are obviously just visitors to Sucina on a short term basis and are just trying to answer with negative comments after I have spoken the truth. As for you implying we are townies we lived on a farm/smallholding in the u.k before coming to Spain for 10 years and NEVER had a fly problem. So I respectively suggest you do not know what you are talking about and please keep your totally fabricated comments and sarcasim to yourself each time I post a genuine comment and stop acting like a pair of schoolchildren.  Thank you

I visited in April Sat outside having Barbecue had no problem with flies.Must admit in the Summer sitting outside Hacienda eating was a nightmare but it was still light But did Noticed when it was Dark table next to us had no problem while eating.Like any Country in the Summer months theres an increase of flies. This Summer was worse than last summer maybe the fields had been Sprayed late.We Actually were back in beginning October as we purchased an Apartment in the Summer had no problem at all  Ate outside Breakfast, Lunch,Evening,Had no problem at all with flies then.I certainly would not let it put me off purchasing, as Sucina and surrounding Areas are Lovely.Hope this Helps.

I was there in July, trying to eat a meal at Mario’s was a nightmare, won’t be going back there unless something is done,
