Hi, I'm coming out to look at property in Sucina in June. I'm hoping to but an apartment that I can visit 7 or 8 times a year. But I would like to rent it to family and friends at other times.

Can anybody help me with a rough average monthly cost for services ( water, electricity, internet etc and taxes for a 2 bed apartment) ?

Also any details of a friendly informal management / cleaner, who would be happy to hold a set of keys and clean and sort the place on the odd occasion I rent it out.

Many Thanks,

Chris

Dear Chris

Welcome to Sucina, it is a wonderful village with many lovely people and places to visit. With regards to your questions about apartment running costs. Standing charges make up a high proportion of utility bills here. We have a 2 bedroom apartment in the centre of Sucina and when it is not occupied, the water bill is around 50 euros every 2 months and electricity is about 45 a month.

There are a few people in the village who offer cleaning and key holding services, so that should be pretty easy to set up.

I don't know if you have a property in mind, but ours is for sale. It is in the centre of the village, has 2 good sized bedrooms, a balcony and all rooms have air conditioning. It is on the market at oiro 58,000 euros.

Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Best wishes

Claire

Hi Chris

Yes it is advertised with Murcia Property Services and is on their website. It is a featured property reference s133.

Am happy to keep in touch and answer any questions. I live here permanently, we own a house in Sucina and I work over here, so have reasonable local knowledge.

All the best

Claire

Hi, I’m looking at places to live in Murcia where you don’t need a car. Can you live in Sucina using just feet, maybe bicycle, and public transport, with occasional taxi? Ideally, being near all living needs, bars and restaurants on foot. Thanks in advance, Andrew.
