Hi I am thinking of buying in sucina

I don't drive and I am a mature lady.at  the moment I am  Only thinking of holidays but in the future I would like to move completely

Can anyone give me some advise on public transport and local shopping

What's in the area to do and if I can get a bus to and from the airport and the beaches

Thanks

I look forward to chatting

Sally

Hi Sally,

There are only 2 buses per day go through Sucina and the town, as nice as it is, is pretty remote if you don't drive. Not far away [car or taxi] is the town of Balsicas which has a train station.

Sucina itself has enough shops to see you through on a day to day basis.

Hello Sally

I have just joined the forum and saw your message.

I am thinking of buying in Sucina near my friends after I have retired in December 2018.

Yes, being a mature lady myself I am going to ask for advice on the forum.

If you are near to Cambridge and want to meet up to chat that would be great.

With best wishes - Pamela

Hi Pamela

I am in east grinstead in West Sussex I don't drive and I work abroad .

Some one  replied a while ago and said it is very difficult to live there if you don't drive and it's a small town with not much there.

The bus apparently only runs a few times a week !!

I don't know if this is the place for me but if you have other info you can email me

[email protected]

Have a great day

Hasta la vista !!!

Sally

Hello Sally

Great to get your message on the forum.

My friends who are buying in Sucina say it has all the amenities.  It is apparently a lovely place and I will be seeing for myself next early summer.

Bye for now Sally.

With kind regards

Pamela

Sucina is a lovely village. We have had our place there for over 13 years. However public transport is virtually non existent, and there is no taxi company in the area. So unless you have a car or intend to spend almost all your time in the village, then my answer would be no, it isn't worth doing.

Hope this helps.
