I am looking for any information on Pellet Stoves.  I am thinking of buying one, and I would like to talk to someone who already has a Pellet Stove installed, or knows anything about how good they are.  Can anyone recommend this form of heating.  Thank you

I had a pellet stove fitted by Solpellet.

Excellent piece of equipment.

The only downside may be the noise of the fan that blows the hot air about.

There are lots of different makes styles & heat outputs.

Ask any questions you like.

Thanks for your reply, helpful.  We do not know anything about these stoves.  What area does your stove heat and what Kw output is it.  We wee told in Leyroy Merlin that we would need about 14-15 Kw. to heat 123sq mtrs in our house.  They are quite expensive. How much did you pay and what size is it?  We live in Vally del Sol, between San Javier and Murcia.

I have a 7kw stove but my house is under 100 sq mtrs.

Total cost was 1800 euro including fitting & IVA.

If you contact Neil at Solpellet he will come to see you & give you an honest quote.

Hi i have had one for three nearly four years now never been cold, it works on a timer so it comes on in the morning and again at night at what ever temp you set it, easy to clean, i have just taken 4 minuets you clean it today i clean it every second day. i get my pellets  from Merlin's before the start of the session and at the end on one of there 15% days, i find it much cheaper that way. i have 40 bags in stock and i burn on average 2 days to one bag. temp set at 24 dig 7 till 9 mornings 7 till midnight. seven days a week i have also had it on sleep over night and i find if you turn the temp down to 20 then set sleep it runs all night burning very few pellets, if you want to see one working you are welcome to come around, if i can be any further help let me know.

Thank you for replying.  What size is your house. I was advised to get a 14Kw or 15Kw for my house 123sq mtr.  What price was your heater and where did you buy it?  Did they install it?  Thank you

Hi,

We bought our pellet burner last year and would be without it, so easy to use and clean,

Ours is an English model from the picture attachment. Much better made then the Spanish ones.

Call Richard really nice guy will come and talk and my advise you of what you will need for your place .
