Hola!

My partner and I are wanting to move to Spain and Sucina seems to be one of our favourite towns so far. We will be visiting the area to get a "feel" of the place but would love to know what locals say about their town. Our aim is to integrate into a community, take part in local activities and build friends. We will be living permanently in the area so looking for a forever home. Is this the place to be? Would love to hear what people have to say 😎

Hola

Although we have a holiday home here for many years.

You will find it easy to integrate with the Spanish and as there is quite a large British contingent. You will feel quite at home before you know it.

For a little village there is quite a lot that goes on.

Every day people meet up for coffee at Arcos, and drink in the evenings at Franc & Louise pub.

Once your faces get recognised you will start connecting.

There are 7 Restaurants to choose from from typically Spanish to Indian to English.

2 Little supermarkets

Spar and Lesco

A Medical centre, A Dentist, & Vets

2 Garages for mechanics.

A beautiful Furniture shop

I cannot think of anything else for now.

Good Luck

I agree with everything Lyndsay says.

We have had our holiday home since 2008 and still love going there.

The only downside of Sucina is a lack of public transport, so having a vehicle is a must, unless you intend to spend all of your time in the village.

Hi, my husband and I moved to Sucina at the end of February this year. I agree with the comments. It's a great place to live and meeting people is no problem. Lots of activates are offered in the community centre, from spanish lessons to yoga, sewing classes. Last week we went on a bus trip to Benidorm, organised by 2 lovely english ladies. More trips planned. Everyone greets each other, regardless of nationality. Enjoy your trip when you come and l hope you find your new home.

Hi yes sucina is a lovely place to live, we moved here last August, we found everyone are really friendly, and you have all amenities, restaurants, and just recently a beauty salon as open, good luck with your search

They are in the community centre in Sucina, Wednesdays 16.30-18.30. Although there are only 3 left before the summer holidays. I think they start again in September, but I'm not 100% sure. You can ask in the community centre. Have a great weekend 🌞🌞🌞

We have been to pinar de campoverde, which sounds very similar to Sucina. However we have noticed over the years the amenities are diminishing a bit. Not as friendly as it used to be either. Looking for a holiday home and hopefully if I can persuade my other half. Any suggestions lol

Can you tell me if the furniture shop has some "different"items seems like the only sofas all with chaise, or very high backs?
