Hi, I was recently reading about monthly costs of living in this region. I noted that lots of people paid monthly for healthcare. Do you pay this because you aren't resident? Do you pay it to subsidise the Spanish healthcare system? My husband is type1 diabetic and we recently found out his insulin is €96 and €76 to purchase in Spain and a further €76 for test strips. While researching moving to Spain, we have provisionally been quoted €2450 each for healthcare insurance in Spain which is expensive to say the least. Any advice gratefully received.
