I think as you will be short term letting you will have to register your property with the Murcia tourist board, I presume you come under Murcia and not Valencia, I can put you in touch with someone who can do this for you, just send me a private message if need be.

What do you mean "pay to air bnb" if you short term let then you need to register, long term is different

Typing error I meant does this apply to Air bnb, do u know of any other red tape as it is straight forward in England.  Yes I would be looking in the Costa Calida area.

Yes it will apply to air bnb, you will need liability ins around 300.000 euros, once the forms are filled in and sent off you can start letting, somebody from tourist board will visit to inspect the property this could take 3 months or more, you need to register with the police as it is law that you need to let them know names and NIF numbers of guests over 18, sounds daunting but this is Spain

I have an apartment I let out short term ie anything from 1 night to 1 month, I have contents ins and inc in this is liability ins I have 1.000.000 liability ins but I think you need around 300.000,
