We have an apartment there. The fees aren't as much as you think and you get free internet, free english tv, free car park space and all the amenities on the resort including communal pools, outdoor gym, tennis courts and football pitch! There is a bar, restaurant, spa shop and security is second to none. It's by far the best golf resort around and we don't play golf! The gardens are immaculate and you don't come back to over grown gardens, weeds in the street like on other urbanisations.

We bought there two years ago and have never regretted it. Best thing we ever did! I would highly recommend looking here. The bargains will go soon. We have made 20k euros on our apartment since we bought it.

Hi

Thanks for taking t he time to contact us.

The information is much appreciated and I think we have finally decided that we are going to take the plunge

We are coming out in early August and are in the middle of arranging some viewings

Is there anybody you would recommend or steer clear of regarding agents ?

Also we have noticed some really cheap bank repos what is your opinion on them ?

Again many thanks

Repos can be a bargain but just be careful how much you need to spend to get them into a liveable state.

I would recommend speaking to Liz McReynolds who is a local agent. She is very nice and not pushy and will take you all over the region to suit your budget.

She lives in sucina and her contact details are [email protected] tel: 00 34 690 186 810. She is very knowledgeable about the area and knows the right price to pay. We bought with her and she is our key holder.

If you contact her mention me as we see her every time we visit. She is independent and not like the other agencies.

Give her a call for a chat and I'm sure she will sort something out for you.

Good luck. We are there early August too until 13th if you need a chat.

Hi

My wife and I have noticed some really good value properties for sale on Hacienda Requelmie golf course.

We would initially use the apartment for holidays and then consider moving permanent.

We would be interested on hearing both the pros and cons of living there i.e. Communal fees, general cost of living, other things to do in the area, what are the winter months like etc

We would be grateful for any advice

Jon & Julie Neal

I have recently bought an apartment on Hacienda Riquelme and although it will me used for family holidays it is also a rental property.  So far we have not had any undue reason to complain about noise, in fact I have found it very peaceful day and night.  The resort; facilities and golf course are fantastic and no my husband and I don't golf!!  The community charges high but that includes all the facilities and security onsite.  Depending on which apartment you buy depends on the charges - I understand the ground floor apartments charge more.

Suggest you view a few and see how you feel.

Best of luck, Tracy

Hi, I bought from Quattro Property Management (QPM) who are onsite.  Very efficient and now they provide the rental management for my apartment.

Regard, Tracy
