It is at the end of the avenue in an estate that we viewed a house, Avenida Ambar. The estate is about a 300 yard walk from the town and you pass an excellent local bar/restaurant, Meson Del Vino, on the way to the town church and centre.

This google map shows exactly where it is -

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Calle+Almendros,+30590+Murcia,+Spain/@37.8911964,-0.9410323,17z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0xd6374823ba79cb1:0xf34b08b2001d8c51!8m2!3d37.8916621!4d-0.9386505

The estate was halted before completion when the banking crash happened. Consequently there are large areas  previously marked for houses to be built on which are laying fallow.

I wouldn't hesitate in moving there. Sucina is a nice area with nice residents.

Just wondered how much a repossessed property normally costs. It looks a lovely village for holidays or to live. Just wondered what people's thoughts on both options would be. I.e holidaying (as you do) or living there xxx thank you for replying. How long have you owned your property. Is it a two bed semi xxx

Hi Joseph,

Try kyero.com website to see properties for sale in Sucina .Use the filters for top & bottom prices. there are a few on there some of which have been empty for some time.

Sucina is a lovely village with a large expat. community. There are 2 small supermarkets and around 8 bars/restaurants as well as banks and other shops. Just outside the village are 2 golf courses. Its about 20 drive to the nearest beach. A modern hospital is located about 10 mins. drive down the motorway.

You could try googling "I love Sucina" for information on fiestas and events. We think its an Ideal place either to live or for an holiday home.

Cheers.

A cubic metre of water weighs around a ton. I wouldn't try it without an experts opinion although I know there are properties who do have that set up.
