Antigen test for returning to UK

Hi, we have family flying Monday.

Went to Los alcazares and San javier. All booked up for Friday pm and Monday am.

However , they booked in for 2 tests at cartegena for Sunday, without having to go to cartegena😀
think as more people travel here, there are going to be problems with availability of tests , unless they start using the pharmacies 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you, for the information. Still in UK at the moment, managed to email the medical centre in san Javier & booked ahead for the dates we needed just hope have given enough time . Test on a Monday fly home on a Tuesday.

I don't suppose you know an email address or a website for the place in Cartagena where you can get tests done do you please?

We fly back on Tuesday so ideally wanted to find somewhere to get it done on a weekend rather than leaving it to the day before we fly back.

It also seems that you can order tests to take out to Spain with you and then take the test via a video call with a health advisor. Not sure whether this seems like an easier option or not?!

A few people have emailed

They have a number of health centres, San Javier/ Pedro/Los alcazares/Cartagena. However only Cartagena are open weekend. So you could try requesting Cartagena within the email.

My brother and partner went for the test yesterday, booked for 12, got there at 11. Went straight in , no problem.

When they came out, she advises us that they would get an email in four hours. No problem

Luckily, we stayed around cartegena, as it’s so lovely, as a few hours later over a brew, she asked me if all the documentation they filled out for flying , were linked to the medical centre as she hadn’t given them her email address!

So back we went and they happily got a paper copy of the certificate.

I have read about another couple not receiving they emails. But now it’s obvious why, with all the form filling, an easy mistake.

So, remember to leave your email address🤣🤣👍👍👍
