Hi everyone,we have just purchased a static caravan on the totana campsite. We are hoping all going well,to be coming out for a short stay to begin with,In may. I'm just looking for any info on how far we are from the nearest town/village... public transport....etc. Any info would be much appreciated.

H it would be a little difficult to answer your question not knowing which is it a campsite or residential park?
I would also wondr why you have purchsed somthing when you do not know the area?
Very odd thing to do buying without doing any reasearch.

Hi Roberto, it is a established residential park we are buying on...we have visited the area on numerous occasions. But have not stayed at this particular park. In answer to your question,why buy when you do not know the area, we do but, we are looking for additional information pertaining to this specific park.

About 18 months online with estate agents sites, Google earth, forums, looking at many areas in southern spain. Followed up by 2 short rental stays in our shortlisted locations with lots of driving around to get a feel for each area. One we felt at home in instantly, the other we hated from the start. Public transport was not an issue as we never used it in the UK when we lived there and have no plans to now we live here in Spain full time.

Thanks for that philtox...pretty much the same for us. Not a knee jerk buy...2years in the making. Just asking for info and people's experiences really.
