Hi folks,
Can anyone offer guidance as we are buying a newer car but the dealer wants an updated Padron as ours was dated May 2021 and to prove address on such a purchase they want the Padron to be within 3 months.
I have a digital signature and have been able to obtain a copy of Padron for our address with todays date on it,...
Any helpful input out there

For any legal requirements such as a car purchase, Padrón certificates must be at least under 6 months old and often less than 3 months old. As you can download one using your firma digital it's best to download one each time you need one.

Thanks Mags44, the problem I have is I do not know how to download one for each purpose.would you have any idea which section on the Murcia web site refers to it?

There is only one sort of padron certificate. If you can download one it will serve for any transaction.
Your registration on the padron only needs renewing every five years, it is the certificate that is only valid for three months.

You should be able to download them from the website of your Ayuntamiento, in your Carpeta Cuidadana.

Yes, thank you, I understand that. I just need to confirm that the document I was able to download, was in fact the certificate as it showed the previous owner listed first then me with the date it was registered and the date at the end of document was 10\2/2022. I am looking to ensure the dealership will accept that paper as the certificate?
Do you have any knowledge where on the web site I might find such a thing as my spanish is poor.
