we are coming over in 2 weeks to look at areas and properties before we buy, and would like to get our NIE number while we are there, but I cant seem to find where I can make an appointment at the police station, do I need a gestor to book it for me? thank you

Its hard to get an appt at the minute due to covid, you can do it yourself online or a gestor could do this for you or you can do it via the spanish consulate in the U.K. You don't actually need to be in Spain to do it.
