Hi Jackie,

I don’t live in Yecla but just a few kilometres down the road towards Villena, in the Las Virtudes area. We have quite a few British and other European neighbours.

It’s unfortunate you (and all of us to be truthful!) are here at this time as a newly without having the possibility of meeting with others easily. My young daughter has just come to live with me and can’t go to a gym or other venues where youngsters go as she is very wary of catching Covid-19, as most of us are.

I do hope you manage to meet people but please don’t take any risks.

Even if we don’t see each other ‘in the flesh’ quite yet, remember there are lots of us on hand for a chat online or WhatsApp.

Welcome to Yecla! We live on the Almansa Road, 5k from Yecla so just a few minutes to town. Loving it here, just shout if we can help in any way.It’s kind of full on when you first arrive and can feel a little overwhelming! Hi Jackie we moved to Yecla about 5 weeks ago. Looking to make new friends in the area . It seems there are a few English people here . I hope you made some friends . I’m looking to meet up with people for coffee etc and maybe some Spanish lessons
