Can someone tell me why everything is closed in Yecla today Monday 7th January
I went to get my prescription at the pharmacy near the hospital CLOSED, went up I to town to Pharmacy near Mercadona CLOSED town was empty. Thought it strange as no cars parked near hospital, doctors, school.
Have they taken an extra Fiesta day! Will everything be open tomorrow!

In the UK when Christmas falls on a weekend days are given to compensate, the same here in ?Spain. The festival if the Three Kings was this last weekend so today has been designated a holiday. All back to normal tomorrow.

Yes it's a Puente day following a national holiday that was on a weekend. You'll have to get used to it as they have a few of these. Oh how they love to party lol.

Thanks for info. We live near Pinoso but come under Murcia for everything. Pinoso was buzzing e erything open! Thanks again have now been to Pharmacy this morning
