Hi, as a family with young children, are there many children out playing in yelca as i love the quietness but my children want to be able to meet other children of similar age who are English and Spanish.

Hi, it really depends on where you live in Yecla,if you live in the town there are lot's of little parks where families with children gather during the evening to play on the equipment, but as you get further away from town the houses become more spread out so i have not seen a lot of children playing so much in the campo/countryside, also even though there are english living in ( probably less than 100) yecla they tend to be of an older age group so do not have many young children.

Thanks for the information, very helpful. Now i need to weigh up all pro and downs for every family member.

It does mean I am going to have to do alot more driving in the evening's for them to play with friends. But then I will have to be driving them to school anyway.

I need to weigh up what I want, campo and kids wanting friends. I do suppose tho i shall chat with mums on the park.

Im sure somewhere else on this forum was a post from another young english couple with young children, it may be worth seeing if you can find that and send them a message.
