Hi Everyone

Seems an odd thing for me to ask, but I was informed that in some areas it’s possible to buy water in to fill the swimming pool, by the tanker full. We’re in Yecla and wondered does anyone know a company providing this service locally, as I’d be interested in doing this.

Thanks for your trouble I hoe someone can help.

Kindest regards

Lynn

I am in the same situation: (I have still ca. 1 month to wait - so no quote yet)

Aguas La Tercia

www.transporteaguapotablemurcia.es

Phone: 629 774 983 (Paco)

But I would calculate what is would cost with your water company from the tap......Calculate the m3 of your pool times the charge)

My thought is also: OK the pool is full in no time with Agua La Tercia - but cold

using the tap it takes probably 8-9 hours and the sun will warm the water up.......

Thanks, I’ll do that, I had same thought filled in no time, but you’re right it’d be very cold.

Purley out of interest as we're coming over for good to Camposol in the Autumn;  what's the rough cost to fill the average pool, say 10m x4m in both methods of filling?      Is it an annual occurance?    What's the benefits/problems using both fresh or salt?  Hope you don't mind my intrusion.

ours is about that and and extra 250€ approx on the water bill. You have to have a salt water filtration system not fill it with salt water...lots of info on youtube about pros and cons of both systems

If you fill with tap water its heavily chlorinated so you have to leave it for a few days before adding your own chemicals

My rough calculation:

Pool 3 x 8 x (depth) 1,50 =  36 m3

My builder told me the cost of delivery of the water could be ca. € 450

Waterbill:

0 – 9 m3 = €0,55/ m3  >  4,95

10 – 27 m3 = € 1,45/ m3 > 39,15  Total € 44,10 (OK + IVA, + Service charges)

We had 3 Companies around for a quote. Each of them told me that if you have to have a salt water pool you need also chlorine for disinfection.

Monthly maintenance cost: € 60,00 incl. material

We get water by the tanker in Yecla, it’s €75 for 12,000 litres. He speaks a little English and you can use WhatsApp to arrange delivery by sending a pin drop if your in the Campo. His number is 639 979 830. We use it for our water well and to top up the pool. Might be more expensive than tap water if you have to fill the pool from scratch.

Best wishes,

Roma
