Hi all,

I would like to ask you how to get from the Alicante airport to Aguilas without car. I tried to find it in google maps and it looks you spend 4 or more hours on the way :(.

Thanks, Jana

Bus via Murcia but it will be lengthy but cheapest way. Taxi or hire car should take less than 90 minutes.

Taxi from Murcia or Almeria airports will give little change from 100 euros and Alicante airport is further from Aguilas.

Good luck!

Hi, as mentioned the bus is a good, if lengthy, way. If you time it right you don't have too long to wait at Murcia. I always get the bus as don't have a car.

The worst thing is that you don't seem to be able to pre-book the bus from Aguilas to Murcia, unlike the one from Murcia to Alicante airport - different bus companies!  Whilst this shouldn't be too much of a problem, if you hit a busy time and the bus is full,  they just leave you behind - and yes it did happen to me and I had to wait a couple of hours for the next one.

When I first started travelling to the airport this way I got very frustrated with the lack of buses to Aguilas and limited public transport full stop, now it is just a fact of life that I have to plan carefully, not a big deal when living in such a lovely place. :)
