There are a few of us brits around Lorca. But not too many to change the feel of a gorgeous area. We have owned near there for 5 years and plan to move full time in another 5 years . 

Lovely place to be , authentic and rural , yet close to all amenities , shopping centre and beaches  very close. Happy to talk if you want any hell

Thank you so much for getting back to me, I was a little concerned that I may

become isolated. I am trying to learn Spanish, is there a language class in the area?

I don’t know if there is. Lots of ways to learn in the UK and to be honest once you are you will be amazed how quickly you can pick the basics up. Too many brits don’t bother trying to learn so if you give it a go you will be amazed at what you can achieve . Lorca is a stunning town , everything you need is very close - my advice is give it a go. !
