Can Dog Owners please abide by the law and take their dogs to a dog friendly beach, there are plenty around.  Children should not have to play amongst dog poo and wee. Children can become extremely unwell and even loose their sight.  Some consideration please.

Sorry Donna and Roland, but I feel a rephrase coming:  Can "some" dog owners ........... totally agree with the rest though, as a responsible dog owner.

The problem is that some people do not like pets of any sort so they just nit pick, just get a life and let others enjoy theirs

As a responsible dog owner who takes his dogs on beaches I fully agree that you should be addressing 'some' dog owners not 'all'

Yes I fully agree that children or anyone come to that shouldn't have to put up with dog mess of any kind but its unfair to tar every owner with the same brush

Maybe a word with 'some' Spanish owners would be beneficial

On behalf of all responsible dog owners I apologise for the bad behaviour of those not so responsible. And can I just add if your taking your children on beaches where dogs are allowed then may I suggest you look for beach that has no dogs allowed signs posted. As a responsible dog owner i never take my dogs on a beach where they are not allowed

Sorry John, thats bang out of order.  Not just children but nobody should have to pick their way through dog poo and piddle because owners are irresponsible and lazy.  I like dogs and all animals but expect owners to act with consideration and courtesy to people and not assume its acceptable.  Can't imagine why you would think its nit picking to object this kind of shameful behaviour.
