We are hoping to have the front terrace of our fortuna style villa closed in and are looking for someone who can put a roof on and glaze it. Any recommendations?

Also I am aware that you currently can't get planning permission, but we have been told that people are still having the work carried out. Our solicitor said as long as nobody complains it should be ok and after a few years you can add it to the deeds. Any thoughts on this subject?

Hi All,

Last may, we bought a home on lower c, since then, we've been five times, driving once at Christmas.

As a norm, we hire a car at Covera airport, usually from Goldcar & I've just done this again yesterday as I'm coming again in June with our daughter and son in law.

My question is does anyone know if there's a more cost effective way/company to hire from when we come over that might reduce the cost of hiring a little than the current way I'm doing it?

All & every bit of advice would be welcome as you've all more experience than me 😅

Good morning, I am trying to open a fee free non resident account, but I am having difficulties.

I have seen a lot of posts recommending various bank accounts such as N26, Cajamar wefferent, Caixa and others.

The problem I have is that you either have to be a resident or be in Spain to open up the account by visiting a branch. 

I will be moving to Spain permanently in 3 month, but need to get a bank account before my arrival in Spain and before applying for residency.

Is there a bank account which I can open without being present in Spain that doesn't have a monthly fee. 

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hello, has anybody used Caixa Bank for their home insurance in order to get a free bank account?

We are looking for home insurance and for a free bank account and thought this might be a good solution.

WHAT KIND OF RESIDENTS DO WE HAVE? ARE THEY SICK, OR JUST DOWN RIGHT THIEVES WHO WRECK EVERYTHING THOSE GREAT GARDEN PARTIES DO FOR THE AREA.
