Post box lock taken - 5 replies

Mrsubby Posted by Mrsubby in General Roda discussion on Mon Jul 5, 2021 10:22am

Hi.

After a long COVID break from Roda Golf it is so nice to be back.

On my return and I’m my absence, someone has broken into my postbox and taken the lock?? (Located at main entrance)

There was nothing of any value posted out, probably all just junk mail! And all my bills are online

The question is, does anyone know where I can purchase a new lock.

I am aware of a locksmith/ key cutting service shop in San Javier,

Many thanks in anticipation

Roda Village - 3 replies

Damien Posted by Damien in General Roda discussion on Sun Jan 17, 2021 8:28pm

Can anyone let me know what it’s like owning in Roda village. It looks like a lovely little village but really want to know what people who own or live there think. As soon as covid restrictions have eased for us all, we’ll be looking to buy a holiday home & the location looks great but don’t know enough about the village. Honest opinion will be greatly appreciated. Would love to know about the demographics, Irish bar and couple of restaurants, is it a family friendly place etc. Any thoughts, good and bad would be a massive help, many thanks

Roda Village vs Roda Golf?? - 1 replies

Damien Posted by Damien in General property discussion in Roda on Sun Nov 29, 2020 4:25pm

As our search continues in purchasing a property in Roda, a few people have mentioned Roda Village. It appears you get more for your money in the village but I don’t know anything about it. Can anyone fill me in on Roda Village (is it mainly Spanish or are any/ many Ex pats living there? What are the bars and restaurants like - again are there many English use them? Do the little communal pools get over run as there aren’t that many? Is it safe enough? ) Basically, I’d love to know what people thing of the village vs Roda golf and any positives of living in the village? Many thanks for anyone who can share their thoughts with me, best wishes, Damien
