Hi everyone

My wife, 18year old son and I are looking to buy and move to Yecla once Brexit is finalised.

We were wondering what we need to consider to live full time in Yecla. We are in our late 40’s.

Information on cost of living, water, electricity, petrol prices, council rates etc.

We are looking at a country property with pool.

As soon as travel restrictions are lifted we plan on a few weekend trips to the area to experience what the area has to offer.

Can anyone advise of where I can get help to get my residency in Yecla. Who might help and where to start? 

Is it possible to get good reasonably priced health insurance that facilitates the use of the local medical amenities. 
I have read many guides on what to do, and I’m left wondering......

Hi everyone around Yecla area, I used to enjoy going to Salinas Rastro every Sunday, eating at the Chinese in Sax on way back and this was our highlight of the week. OK we,re really sad sods.😢 Lol. Well rastro's been closed since March and now I, ve been told its never opening back up there. We are very close to Caudete indoor one (no comparison) where we,ve been today but I heard a Spanish man say there was a big one in Yecla, he walked away before I could get more info. Can anyone confirm this or tell me if there is another Rastro within 40kms of Yecla.? I feel I,ve got serious withdrawal symptoms.

HI we are just in the process of purchasing a house in Yecla. It will be a holiday home initially with longer term plans to move over on a more permanent basis. I was wondering if there is an expat community there and if so if anyone has kids in local schools and how they adapted to the schooling over there? How do you find it living there?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi. My wife and I are moving permanently to Spain in September. I’m thinking about buying a finca in Yecla. I’d like to know what the weather is like year-round there. I’m used to the cold in the south of England but I’m not keen on swapping England for living in an area of Spain where it snows every year and is, say, 10 degrees Celsius for 4 months of every year. Websites on Yecla only give average temperatures. Help anyone!! Paul
