The community bus runs 3 days per week around Camposol.. personally speaking I think you need your own transport...or you could buy on A/B sectors close to the shops /Bars/Restaurants/supermarket/Doctors/ Dentist/ Banks/ Community center and so forth .. these properties tend to be more expensive than other sectors like C/D...and I would say that you will still need a car...as public transport / taxis are virtually none existent...in most of Spain.

That's a bit strong. I don't think public transport is virtually non existent in most of Spain, it might be in Camposol, but there are plenty of buses from the port if you need them. If you don't drive you need to locate in or very close to a town which is served by bus companies such as Alsa, or towns which have a railway station. The rail network in Spain is excellent. Don't underestimate how hot it gets in Spain, and walking a distance with shopping is not recommended.
If you have a house in Camposol, you will need a car or some other form of powered transport.
The Consum supermarket in Composol will deliver to properties in Camposol.
Sectors A & B have properties that are a walk to the shops on both sectors. C & D? It's a bit of a hike that you wouldn't want to do in summer.
The nearest town (Mazarron) is 10 kilometers away and Puerto de Mazarron is a bit further
Towns are quite far apart in Spain, there are buses and good trains. However, quite a few towns have no train service. Mazarron & Puerto de Mazarron are among them.
There is a bus service (stops on sector A) that goes to the Port and out to other towns, but it's not too frequent. There are no legal resident taxi services in Camposol.
The simplest answer is to have your own car.
If you buy in Camposol, buy a car in Spain. Or, you could bring one with you, but you can only legally drive it for 3 months. Then it MUST switch to Spanish registration. That will COST!
Secondhand cars command very high prices here. Prepare to be surprised.

Yes but that's Camposol, in the middle of nowhere. Obviously in the campo, public transport is limited, but don't put people off who are new to Spain. Public transport in many parts of Spain are much better, and cheaper than that in the UK.

I wouldn't say you have missed anything at all, you're just tarring all communities with the same brush

Hi, we’ve just bought on sector A after visiting friends a few times. We’ve used the bus service to the port a few times and it’s been fine. Think it runs more in spring/ summer than the winter months. If you google bus service from Camposol to Mazzaron you can get the timetable. If you’ve no transport you really need to be looking on sector A/B . Hope this is helpful.
