Hubby is having a wobble and is wondering what people who have retired to Camposol do to fill their days. Would love to hear what could be waiting for us. We have 2 dogs so dog walking is a given.
Thanks.

All depends if you have any hobbies sitting by the pool in the sun enjoying a beer is great but that novelty soon where’s off there is golf, gardening groups, charity shops always need assistance, etc am sure people will mention a lot more things to occupy your days
We both work full time at the moment so no real hobbies as yet. Just wondering what there is out there for us to try.

If you like socialising ..and being friendly you will not get bored on Camposol...I think the one's that complain of boredom ...are on a extremely tight budget ...lack of money and I'll health are the 2 main reasons why people go back to the UK.
I don't have enough hours in the day, no time to get bored. If he plays any sports there is a wide variety, I spend 2 days a week playing snooker. Spain is a large country and well worth getting out and about to see some of it. What activities did he have in the UK.

We've not really had much time for hobbies but we used to do target shooting. We both like walking.
There is veterans football, badminton, tennis, line dancing, golf, welcome group - run trips, fiesta group -run trips, your 15 minutes from the beach, there are loads of activities at the Hotel Mariposa, there are walking groups, lots of evening entertainment as well. You wont be bored.

Hi Sharon, My wife and I have a place on D,we have been here for the last 6 years ,increasingly spending more time here than in the UK , apart from the better weather there are various clubs to join, I like walking the many paths across Camposol, and Tending to my garden, so much more to grow here which is fun as longer season, as the others say something for everyone.....much more laid back than UK, people generaly friendlier too.

How can lack of money be a reason to go back ? Life is cheaper here. And it's not like Spain is a retarded country regarding medical help. Don't forget, this is the healthiest region of Europe, and we are more active in this climate. Many problems people have from cold and moist weather vanish here.

In case you haven't noticed ...you need money to live...you can't survive on fresh air and sunshine get real..supermarkets are the same price or more expensive in Spain ..the only things that are cheaper are fags and none branded booze .
