Hi steve

Its Lynne. I personally would avoid El Carmoli. Unless you like quiet! Its like a ghost town... beach is not great. Please contact Hazel sometime Alhambra Villas with your requirements. She helped us immensely. I saw you liked Roda. We looked there as well. Better option for you I think as near to main roads along coast.

Hi Steve

We have a residential property and no community charge here in Sucina. We know a few people who come and go and have not had any problems . Most of them do have ‘key holders’ who will check on their property and get it ready for your return should you require this service. These can be friends who will not charge you, or a neighbour who will only charge a minimal amount possibly.  You will just have to ask wherever you buy. I have found everyone around us to be helpful and will always look out for your property re safety etc.

Yes hooray. Only the odd one this time of year. Too cold for them I think! I am sure there will be fewer nearer the coast during the summer months though.

Hi lynne I spoke to hazel est agents seems a nice lady will probably look at 1 property in el carmoli but the area where im primary looking is Santiago de la ribera and rosa village the main thing for me is the beach .Ive been talking to an agent for about 3 weeks and im coming over very soon next couple of weeks to view a few but im not going to do anything stupid I have bought property before and made mistakes rushed in to it .I do however know that the market is picking up where I live in essex 2 years ago property was going on to the market and being sold in 11 days and going above the asking price I relise this wont happen in spain but all that ive read is in the next couple of years prices are going up and may not be able to afford cheers steve

Hi Steve

Good luck with your search. Santiago is very nice..more Spanish than English. Don’t know your budget but we looked there and found it a bit too expensive for us but there are still a lot bargains out there! Let us know how you get on.
