Hello,

Having spent many years holidaying in a family villa in El Rancho, we are considering buying a property under the Golden Visa scheme, to eventually retire permanently. There seems to be a big difference in community fees looking at the difference areas. Any advice?

Yes the community fees vary depending on access to your property, facilities near by, other options offered with your premises, parking, pools. The position of your property and orientation, ground floor outside space. Promixity to Hotel etc. Hope this helps, the better the property the higher the fees, but what a great resort.

You will need to act quickly, as Spain is reported to be in the process of stopping the 'Golden Visa' scheme. Although I would imagine you could move with a Non Lucrative Visa.

Hi

Before we bought last year, we picked up a really useful  paper brochure from Marena Murray which shows the different annual fees for every Community, and for each property size - 1 bed, 2 bed etc.  It also shows which Communities have Sports Rights and again the level of these dependent on the size of the property.  Sorry I don't have it with me or I'd upload a photo but great to have all the comparative information in one place.
