Hi I’m just in the process of buying an apartment in Mazzaron (Condado de Alhama) I’m looking at purchasing a 7 seater car.  Anyone have any recommendations for a dealer and airport parking ? Any do’s, dont’s or advice would be really appreciated

I would recommend Plane Parking they bring your car to airport.Avoid AsCars our Catalytic Convertor got stolen while stored on their Compound took us a year to resolve with their insurance ended up going to courts to resolve.

Every lot dealer on the Costa has at least one 7 seater on their ' forecourt' ...some are great motorway cruisers but less flexible in and around resorts for parking..some cone with fixed seats but I'm some models..kia carnival for example you can take out all the back seats and it becomes a van ...but it is classified as a light van and needs two itv s a year and they have big engines...diesel is cheaper than petrol here as a general rule...the citroen grand picasso range with two folding rear seats to make 7 are plentiful and popular here but won't be comfortable as kids get older in terms of legroom and when you do use them you lose luggage space for visitors so a roofbox can be really handy as well..it depends how many of you and what sort of journeys you are making and regularly or not ..90 days or residency...murcia airport if you are a resident and travelling infrequently back to the UK is cheap enough to park ad hoc via aena app rather than parking yearly arrangement...

Murcia is easy to park with loads of outside space .

Alicante less so ..big multi storey with low roofs on some levels..tight turns up and down the floors .

So have a think what suits you best

Remember you will need to get an annual service/pre-ITV and an ITV depending on its age - a good airport parking firm will deal with this for you while you are not here so you lose no useful time and are not tied to coming over to get these done.
