Hi

Is anyone able to advise who to contact to pay our tax. We have bought a property late last year and need to pay the local property tax. The local area is Torre Pacheco.

Thanks

Thank you for the reply. I did ask my solicitor when I bought the property late last year, she said direct debit was set up. Nothing has gone from my account. I just thought there may be another way as i am in the UK.

If you bought your property last year then your first IBI payment will be for 2024 and this is due from 20/07/24 until 01/12/24.

Here is a document from the Torre Pacheco townhall website showing the dates:

We find direct debits do not show until the first time they are taken.
We are also torre Pacheco and we use Wise. Our estate agent set them all up when we completed.

Yes, I was informed mine d/d has been set up for the yearly property tax, I think it’s paid in one payment as of yearly, still not as yet been charged, signed for property back in August, so as a cover just have monies in account for when payment does happen & then going forward you will know times & amount each year afterwards. 🤓
