Hi

We bought our house in the old town in Cehegin late last year and unfortunately due to Covid we were not able to get over to it yet.  We have now plans to be there the last week in July - (fully vaccinated :-))

I just wanted to check with everyone;

What is the atmosphere like in Cehegin at the minute?(we were there in Oct 2020 - it was lovely but quiet)

Are there any events planned for last week / July beg of August?

The week will be spent mostly buying and sourcing items for the house but we are hoping to visit the local area too.

Thanks for any input or advice.

Kind regards

Karen

Hi, Karen. We don't live in Cehegin, but in the next town along of Mula. I've shopped to the max to sort our place out so if you need any shopping help, just let me know!!

I know, it's a great feeling to be coming out! We waited 7 months but are going back to UK next week.  Don't ever want to wait that long again ❤️

Hi Christine

Lovely to virtually meet you.  I do think you are our neighbours.  😊

I am from Donegal and my husband is from the UK.

We will be over in last week of July to get the keys and again in September for 2 weeks and will plan more time in Cehegin once the covid situation stabilises.

Hopefully some of our trips may overlap so we can meet. We will use it as our holiday base initially but plan to live there full time in the next 5 to 8 years, before that if we can.

We are really looking forward to July. I fell in love with  Cehegin the first time I saw it.

Hi Christine

That's great, we plan to be there from 7th Sept to 21st Sept so we will definitely get to meet.

That's wonderful knowing we have english speaking neighbours.

July will be busy for us sorting out bins, TV and other stuff for the house but we are hoping to go back an forward as much as possible of the next couple of years.

I will pm you my private email.

See you soon

Karen
