Good morning, is there an antigen testing lab in Los Alcazeres? We are heading home week after next and it would be helpful if we could get it done here. The alternative is in Santander but our Motorhome isn’t particularly suited to cities! Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

If it is of any help, on the Avda del Ferrocarrill on your right when heading from the Los Narejos end towards Los Alc., there is a big sign indicating "COVID 19". I think it is a testing centre.

I suggest you read the UK Govt website regarding the 2 stage Covid test needed upon arrival and your requirement to fill in a passenger locator form and the 10 day isolation period.

Hello I think there are a number of places that you can have these done but they must comply with the rules from the Government website. I had mine done at the IMed hospital in Murcia. They have a website. Cost me €40 and had results in 15 minutes. I think someone said on a forum last week that they now may have a facility in San Javier. This will be closer for you. Mark.

Cost me under £18

I have had my test 20 euros at the end of January for rapid antigen test (waited 5 mins collect on day)

Meets more than governments rates

It is

For the antigen test

The test has a sensitivity of 95.4% (our government's requirement 80%)

and a specificity of 100% (our government's requirement 97%)

with accuracy of 98.91%

https://cardiosalus.com/prueba-covid-murcia/

Easy to book online a test with lots of times to choose from.

Once I have landed in the UK and got through with this test will let you know all OK

back in uk ok

Yes went from Alicante airport at the checking in desk they wrote in the boarding pass.  PCR Ok

At Gatwick airport at border control checked my antigen test and let me through

So the 20 euro antigen test worked.

NOT OVER PAY

I had heard that there is no longer a covid test clinic in Los Alcazares. I went up there yesterday to check that but couldn't find it so I guess it has gone.

Thank you so much for that. I was worried because there was only 1 day I could have the test because I fly back on a Monday and they're closed at the weekend but it's done, thank heavens. Thank you again

Can I ask if the antigen test in San Javier is government approved? I know they need to meet certain requirements to be accepted, I need to book one for next week. Thank you

Hi. There is no indication on the test result that they are Govermen Approved but they carry a TUV Rheinland ISO number and I guess this is warrant enough of their standards.

Several people have passed through airport security with this clinics test results, including myself.

But I understand that they have to be UK government approved. We might get out of Spain, but will we be allowed into UK?
