Car hire Alicante Airport

Can recommend Centauro - they have an office in the arrivals area - well staffed, very friendly, have used them at Alicante and Corvera - always a great service, and cars are always good. We've booked a car from Centauro for September and November.

I support Centauro...avoid everything wit Eurocar/Goldcar - this will be if go go via a broker i.e. do you spain

Well I doubt they do it for free Fred. I once needed a car for 5 weeks but was appalled at the prices being quoted by all the companies. I ended up hiring a car for 3 weeks, returning it and picking up another car for 2 weeks which made it considerably cheaper, and this was from the same company! When I pointed this out to them whilst switching cars the simply shrugged their shoulders but to be fair it’s not the desks fault. Worth checking out if you need long term hire.

It is strange the way the charges can vary so much depending on how long you rent for. And of course you are not allowed to rent for more than 4 weeks at a time in Spain. 

Didn’t know that, I was quoted prices for 5 weeks but they were very high.
