Have used Corvera airport three times now.

What a brilliant airport. , Not only close to my house but my grandson and I travelled to Bournemouth for 21.98 euros return total for both of us.

It's early days but airport facilities will improve.  Every airport takes time to get established. I remember when San Javier was only a hanger and luggage was delivered on pallets by fork lift.

Just a little patience needed.

Glad it suits you and is close to your house, and yes I’m sure the services will improve. Still think it’s a massive waste of money though and struggling to understand the logic behind it.

Firstly San Javier was only ever a temporary measure as its first and foremost a military airbase.

Secondly eventually Corvera will be a large international airport so won't have to make trips via Madrid.

Seems logical enough.

Will be flying in for the first time in May and then June so will be able to see how things are. Fully expect some tewething problems as surely anyone would expect with such a big project

Maybe the airport underestimated the number of people flying in until the holiday season really kicks in. Anyway, not to bothered and fully expect to get in and out quite quickly (fingers crossed anyway...!!)
