The airport transfer is easy enough but the cost of the trip is the problem.

I agree the cost of transfers from Corvera isnt cheap. There are buses I think two a day to and from this airport, the cheapest option is to hire a car but beware of cheap car hire companies who recoup their costs by inventing damage etc to your hire car. Goldcar are dreadful.

When you say "the cost is the problem" what do you mean and what are you basing that statement on, I lived on camposol for 11 years,i still have a villa there, there was no direct transport apart from taxi to the then San Javier airport or alicante, I do admit a taxi from Corvera will be more than from San Javier but times change

Corvera (RMU) is nearest About 35 mins buses twice a day 5€  Flamenca cars transfer 35€ taxi around 45/50€ easy drive if you hire a car.

Alicante just over an hour and around 80/100 in a taxi .
