Hi All, we recently arrived at our holiday apartment ( at long last ! ) and was disappointed to see that both beaches at Los Narejos and LA no longer have the cafe owned sun beds and umbrellas for hire. Does anyone know if they will become available again? Thanks Angela

I don't understand. I've been using sun beds at Blue Beach Bar for a month.

Los Narejos beach. Opposite the tennis courts on Marqués de Rozalejo, there are 2 roads, both leading down to the Blue Beach Bar. Hope that helps.

Yes there are some at the blue beach bar but not many and none or very few further along, hopefully they will shortly be back in place.

Maybe the reason there are not many at the moment is they all have to be cleaned and disinfected before and after use.

Or perhaps it’s because they pay the council for use of beach like they do putting up a toldo

When you rent a Chiringuito from the council the would include any stretch of beach you are allowed to use if the sunbeds are supplied.

Rental rates are not changed mid season or year to year they are normally agreed for a period of 5 years.
