I have just had my bill from Iberdola, a medium sized Fridge Freezer is left on all the time and nothing else, the bill is 37 Euros / Month.

Just a thought, but is your Fridge Freezer an old inefficient one and is it working correctly? I would empty it, switch it off for a period that you are away and see if you are charged anything else except the standing charge.

I am going to buy here once I find somewhere I like. So on my travels viewing yesterday I discovered a company called Energynordic. They are the English speaking supplier in Spain for expats. All bills and customer services are in English and of course you get a good price. Has anyone had any experience with them? My rental does not include electric and my first monthly bill with Iderbola was €68 for two of us with no air con!

That is my average winter bill in a 3 bed 2 bath 2 people living here with the pool on 3 times a week, so if you are similar I would say that is about right

This is the Spanish equivalent of the UK comparison websites.

Might be useful to people easy to use & also most of it is in English

Realised after I made my post that the daily rate 0.137326 Euro is multiplied by the tariff rating eg. 3.3kw times the number of days in the charging period, say 31.  (= 14.05 Euro but 24.48 on 5.75 tariff). Hope that helps.
