About Happy Retreats

Happy Retreats is a place to which you can escape to, sit back, relax, come out from your shell, and do as much or as little as you want.  

It's a place where you step back, forget the world around you and enjoy the most stunning surroundings.  At Happy Retreats you’ll find a warm, welcoming and friendly home-from-home where you can experience our very own happy retreat recipe for helping you on your well-being journey, this includes:

• having a good night’s sleep to look after our brain;
• eating fabulous healthy vegetarian and vegan food to nourish and fuel our body;
• enjoying regular exercise to improve physical and mental well-being and energy levels;
• taking time to contemplate and appreciate life;
• feeling the warmth of the sun to boost our system; and
• doing activities that bring us joy.

As we all find joy through different activities, our retreats all include the happy retreat recipe and then we mix things up a little by adding different ingredients.  You can choose to: do yoga, mindfulness or meditation; activities such as walking, cycling, hiking the mountains or rafting down the river; explore the surrounding areas; or if you want to come with a ground of friends or family, we can even tailor your retreat especially for you.  The choice is yours.

Location

We're located on the outskirts of Ulea, in El Parque de la Marquesa, a 60-hectare estate owned by a marquesa.  It's filled with orange a lemon groves, huge palm trees, an array of plants and wildlife and, of course, a fabulous swimming pool.

Your home-from-home

Is a fabulous rustic Spanish house filled with oodles of character.  There are five twin-bedrooms, 3 shared bathrooms, two living rooms and fabulous grounds in which to relax, contemplate and get away from it all.  Pure bliss.
