This forum has a section called corona dicussion...

There are several links you can watch as a video...it covers the whole area of costa calida.

Adrian -who produce these videos- makes an update every monday and friday at 4 pm spanish time.

Also the Facebook page N332 ( its the gardia cevil >police< ) anouces as soon as something comes up i.e. fake news on social media

The only place what is critical, but not in lockdown is Totana....

Look also for the news at Murcia Today....

Hi we left aguilas in August and feel more safe over in Aguilas than here in the uk.

You will have to wear a mask at all times when outside and sanitised your hands. The beaches are all very civilised with life guards on them ....so my answer is come and enjoy. X

Hi There is no lockdown here in Aguilas yet although the Murcia region as a whole is showing an increase day on day, this is mainly in Murcia, Mazzaron and other small areas. The spike may be  caused by holiday makers coming into the area, if so hopefully it will ease at the end of the month when they go. We all have to wear masks when outside the home but bars and restaurants are open pretty much as usual but with social distancing (supposedly)

I also feel safer here than the UK where I visited a month ago

Enjoy your stay
