if you have private health insurance they should provide you with details of your local private medical centre who accept it. If you are a uk pensioner ans have a tarjeta salud then you just find your nearest public medical centre. Unlike UK you cant just register with a doctor.
Hi and thanks for the reply. I am employed and have a ‘social security’ number. I presumed this meant I did not need private medical provision and that I could register with a doctor which, if that is correct, means I can go to my local medical centre and register within them. Do you know if that is correct?
Thanks again.

If you are employed then yes you pay into the health system....your medical centre will issue a temporary health card ...take all your paperwork with you, nie, residencia, etc....
Thanks, I just need to find it now!
