We did my brother’s with the assistance of Upsticks.  A simple phone call in the U.K. was our effort but then there is stuff that Upsticks are doing in Spain with social security to finish off.

By far the best way to get one is to call the number below: 

Tel:  +44 191 218 1999

They don't often respond to the email or online service well. 

When you make the call, they will likely have questions regarding your work history and the start date of your state pension, so it's handy if you have that info ready.

Ring the DWP in UK with your NI number ready. They will send you your S1 ..takes about three weeks.

By ringing the number I put above, I had an S1 for my brother in one hour on email and the option of a paper copy in the post.

Yes, we have S1 forms. You need to phone Overseas Healthçare Services in Newcastle. 

0044 191 218 1999

Email: nhsbsa.ohsregistrations@ nhs.net

We phoned them.
