Hi,

I'm looking for recommendations for mobile phone providers for me and my wife for when we move across to the area..

I'm currently with vodafone through my work but want a spanish provider.

I've seen that you can get a bundle option on internet/tv/mobiles but want to see what else is available.

We are in the Los Alcazares area.

Many thanks.

Lobster is good and only €12 per month for limitless calls, texts etc in Spain and to UK.

Agree, but with one caveat, you need to maintain a credit balance to be able to phone premium numbers. We only found that out when trying to call our car insurer to arrange a grua pickup.

Well we both have Lobster cards and pay by standing order each month. No problem... ?

Monthly 12€ fee will cover data and normal numbers, not premium rate ones, to use those a separate payment to add credit is required.

I can’t have ever needed to phone a premium rate number then, as didn’t know that and have never been asked to top up credit 😃

We have used HITs mobile for more than 5 years without any problems. We tried Lobster but found some local blindspots (Movistar) that we never had with Hits who use Vodaphone service

Same for us, we used to use Hits. But we found they had too many blind spots around us that Lobster didn't. Really does seem to vary greatly, but found the same when we were still living in UK, some areas no signal at all.
