Hi all,

Going to move permanently to Spain November/December this year, not worried about a visa got that side covered, I am looking for recommendations for a good tax accountant that speaks English and can do my yearly tax return. Had one previously in Beniofa but it didn’t work out.

Many thanks in advance

If your affairs are simple (e.g. no rental income, property sale etc) you can easily do the return yourself. First step is to obtain a Digital Certificate, which identifies you to many government sites - free but needs to be done when you are in Spain. You do not need to do a return until the year after you have attained residency so plenty time - for example if you are resident from July this year your first return will be for 2024 income, filed after 1st June 2025. Have a look at the Agencia Tributaria website, switch it to English and see what you think.
