Moving to La Palma

Hiya Everyone. My family and I are considering moving to La Palma - it is currently a toss up between France and La Palma island! We have found a place in Villa de Mazo; it needs work but we are not afraid of a project.

Can anyone advise on what life is like in the island please for expats with kids of primary school age? Also, what is Villa de Mazo like as an area please? Also, does anyone know if there is horse riding on the island please?

Any advice you can give would be gratefully received.

Nina, this is a forum for the Murcia region on the Spanish mainland. I hope someone can help you but it's probably unlikely. Try a search for an expat forum in the Canaries. Good luck.

Just to add: you've ended up here because there is a small town in Murcia called La Palma but it's not the one you want!
