We are holidaying in Los Alcazares and sadly have become aware of a mistreated German Shepherd being kept on a rooftop through the warm day and night. The dog is sleeping on the rooftop surrounded by its own poo and has seriously limited space to roam.
We are hopeful we may be able to find some help for this dog or to take some advice from a local authority.

Please can anybody who can help contact us through WhatsApp or text 07432289787

Hello we reported this to the police and they came out on the same day. They spoke to the owner but we had to leave the following day to come back to England.

We’re hopeful neighbours will follow our actions and contact the police if the dog is not cared for better following this

thanks for getting in touch

Thank you so much! I will call Jacqui and discuss.

We’ve been made aware by some friends over there that the situation has not changed although police have been out and spoken to the owners.

HI David..

I am planning in relocating there Jacqui needed volunteers for dog walking etc. So she must have many to take care of, I hope you are successful, especially as the weather is now getting warmer..

Best of luck

My blood boils at situations like this which is 100% cruelty and the owners shouldn't get away with it.  I know it's illegal but I would be sorely tempted to get on the roof and remove the dog to a place of safety.

Hi Peter thanks for the message. So sad to see and so difficult to try and help the poor dog with little success.

Owners like this deserve the worst.

I would definitely do it.
